Preisverleihungen der American Society of Transplantation

Gleich 3 DGKJ-Mitglieder erhielten Auszeichnungen der American Society of Transplantation: Der Kongress in San Diego vom 1.-5. Mai, mit mehr als 5000 Teilnehmern wohl die wichtigste internationalen Tagung für Transplantationsmedizin, vergab den International Young Investigator Award u.a. an Dr. Britta Höcker aus Heidelberg für die Arbeit "Effect of antiviral prophylaxis with (val-)ganciclovir on Epstein-Barr viremia in pediatric renal transplantation: subgroup analysis of prospective, multicenter trial" und an Dr. Thurid Ahlenstiel aus Hannover für die Arbeit "Cytomegalovirus (CMV)-specific CD4-T cells as a prognostic marker for individual CMV-specific immune response after pediatric kidney transplantation". Dr. Heiko Billing aus Heidelberg erhielt einen Award für sein ATC Poster of Distinction: “Pharmaco­dynamic monitoring of cyclosporine A by NFAT-regulates gene expression and the relationship with infectious complications in pediatric renal transplant recipients."
