Focus Module "Epidemiology: the importance of study types and confounding"
The new module, prepared in collaboration with leading experts in the field, is a part of the EU-funded LifeCycle Project. It provides fundamental knowledge to all practitioners and researchers who work closely with research articles.
This interactive course will improve learner’s understanding in applied epidemiology and will improve their capacity to interpret study findings in the light of study design, as well as recognize their strengths and limitations. In addition, the concepts of confounding and time-varying confounding are addressed in the context of life course epidemiology. Participants will gain practice interpreting Directed Acyclic Graphs as tools for the identification of potential biases.
Upon successful completion of the module, you will receive certification providing 2 CME* credits completely free of charge!
