The workshop brings together junior and senior investigators across a range of disciplines to share experience across the critical content areas including HIV treatment and management, drug development, prevention of vertical transmission, coinfections and co-morbidities, pediatric cure research and implementation science. Many of the meeting’s attendees continue to participate each year and have established meaningful relationships and partnerships that have led to collaborative projects.

The overall objective of the International Workshop on HIV & Pediatrics is to stimulate research that will advance prevention and treatment strategies for infants, children, and adolescents.
